Second visit to this venue this year and was happy last year, but have seen a huge leap in refurbishment and upkeep of the exterior area. The products are what they are which is a massive treat but are beautifully and consistently made. Very happy children!! Huge portions and always fresh. Takes about 20 mins to come out of the kitchen because of their fresh nature. Staff, particularly the manager/owner are brilliant. Very personable and can’t do enough. Lovely concept and clearly attracts families, young mums meeting up and families. Parties look fun. Developed well as a concept since last year with a party den and improved seating areas outside. So relaxing and not rushed at all. Ample parking. Reasonable prices. Excellent play area for kids which again seems to have had a bit of a tidy up. Next steps is
To smarten up and improve the consistency and quality of the inside eating area which clearly doesn’t get a lot of use. Animals on site which as friendly and no signs of poor treatment or
Slack practices. Bags of feed available free of charge for feeding. A real gem for local
Mums, tourists who don’t want a super polished and marketed experience and for families. Gorgeously friendly dog on site too which was a real winner with our son.

After reading some of the negative reviews I was a little unsure what to expect. My friend had bigged the place up so we arranged a lunch date. We came on a week day so it was very quiet, our wait for pancakes was only around 15 minutes. They were absolutely delicious and worth every penny. Yes when you put into perspective that they are pancakes with fancy toppings they are expensive, but everything is right now, small businesses need our support as much as possible. The pancakes were delicious and so filling, we took our leftovers home.

The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The inside was really clean and tidy. Toilets clean and well equipped for little ones with toilet seats etc. Great kids book corner and the outside play areas were a huge thumbs up from my 2 children.

The goat food is a lovely addition which is provided for free, the goats are so friendly and my children really enjoyed feeding them.

I would 100% recommend coming here and will definitely be back, we live 50 minutes away and I wouldn't hesitate to come again.

We have been visiting the Pancake Barn over the last 3 years. The food is excellent as is the coffee. This establishment is very "green and eco friendly". The staff are exceptional. There are tables inside and out, now the outside ones are having pergolas built for protection from the weather.
We have just learnt that they may have to close due to not having the correct planning permission for changes that have been made. I tried putting in an objection to Cornwall Council but find the website won't let me register, probably as we are seasonal visitors, all be it for 5 months of the year.
I just wonder how many of the Wendron Parish Councillors actually live locally, or indeed the CC planning comm.
This business employs local people and is a very responsible eco friendly company. Please support them.

Had a delicious breakfast and fantastic flat white coffees. The advocado, salsa pancakes were amazing made with fresh ingredients and the canadian was drenched in maple syrup with crisp bacon. Staff were helpful and friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed.

Staff friendly on arrival. Nice menu with savoury and sweet alternatives. Food was well presented and very tasty. Coffee was also decent.

Lovely place, friendly dog roaming around and delicious pancakes. Can't wait to go again!

It is a very good food me and my wife love it and my mum love them so much she said i wish i took one home with me

Food was delicious however a little on the expensive side, there was a bit of a wait but you can tell it is homemade so worth the wait! Yummy pancakes if you want a treat out

Visited today and loved my Biscoff with fruit! Absolutely lush! We make it up about once a fortnight we just love it here!!

Came up on the last day of openning before Christmas!! Just in time to have the amazing Turkey One mmmmm...

Perfect for young children, they loved the two play areas, feeding the chickens and seeing the goats, really friendly and helpful staff that go above and beyondfor customers, and the pancakes are beautiful - generous portions also. Highly recommend.

Have been twice during our two week stay in Cornwall the Crepes are fantastic well worth a visit if looking for something sweet other than a cream team

We stopped for breakfast around 10am on a Saturday morning, a very welcoming place with lots of lovely plants and some animals on site. The choice/options was excellent as we're the crepes and pancakes we had and I would say appropriately priced compared to similar venues. The lovely young lady at the till and the young man waiting are an asset to the business couldn't have been more polite and helpful and we didn't wait long at all.

Been to WPB quite a few times since it opened and can’t understand why on earth people have left such bad reviews. I’ve raves about this place to plenty of friends and I don’t even live that close. The team there are friendly and accommodating, and the menu is incredible. It’s great for those taking children as there’s a play area and you can feed the animals, and they’ve recently began doing waffles as well as pancakes, although I’m yet to try those. As for timings, I can’t remember ever being that bothered or even noticing how long it takes to get food. If it’s busy I would always expect to wait longer but I’m usually with friends and just excited to get my food whenever it arrives! Ignore the uptight complainers and treat yourself!

went up today with my son after school for a little birthday treat. OMG the Naughty hot chocolate is to die for and the triple stack pancakes are the best I've ever tasted and huge , we couldn't eat it all. It was a lovely treat and so delicious, we will definitely be going back for more.
